Bivas Touro Shabbaton – Spring 2026
Join us in the historic city of Newport, Rhode Island as we commemorate the semi-quincentennial of America, reflecting on 250 years of religious freedom and Jewish life in America!
Join us for a meaningful Shabbat set against the timeless beauty of Touro Synagogue— the oldest synagogue in the United States. This Shabbat offers an opportunity to connect through tefillah, a private tour of the Touro synagogue and special Pesach liturgies. Learning in depth about the history of the first Jews in America and their journey to building one of the most historic Sephardic communities in America. We look forward to a Shabbat of unforgettable memories!

Price: $295 (early bird rate till January 30). $395 afterwards.

Joining us from out of town?
You’re welcome to fly into Boston, Providence, or Newark, and we will arrange pickup from each airport. Those flying into Newark should be aware that it is about a three-hour drive to Newport from New York City. We ask that out-of-town guests plan to arrive Thursday afternoon, March 19.

Transportation from the NYC Area
We will have vans traveling from the NYC area to Newport, as well as returning to NYC on Sunday afternoon. More information about meeting points and times will be shared during the week prior to the Shabbaton. If you plan to use our vans, please indicate this in the form below.
